Louisiana Charter Schools in Action [LCSA], with our sister organization, the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools [LAPCS], presents a trusted platform where you can hear directly from Louisiana candidates on their educational perspectives. We are proud to present a platform exclusive to educating voters on candidates vying to represent schools and families across Louisiana.
Our mission is to help you make an informed voting decision by offering exclusive interviews and responses from candidates for governor, Board of Secondary and Elementary Education (BESE), and the Louisiana legislature. While we're unable to interview candidates in every race before the general elections, it's crucial for you to independently research and stay informed about all local election campaigns. Please use the voting resources on this website to engage in all races in your area. Your voice and your vote matter.
👉 Special Note: To view the videos and survey answers, please navigate to the appropriate dropdown menu at the top of this page. There, you'll find a series of videos where Gubernatorial and BESE candidates answer pressing educational questions, as well as legislature candidates written responses to our survey.
You can request an absentee ballot online through the Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.
On election day, the polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
